The Mean Silence Of Drowsiness

the night shift was fine,
until the moments of a mental wife.
she went all out to prove our officers,
wrong in their twilight judgements.
handling an empty purpose;
her husband's been late from work,
she chose to wait for his return with us.
pissed those officers were,
without a doubt just another shift.

electronic devices can sometimes,
make or break a line of communication.
the lack of judgement,
while the mental senses weakened.
the lack of sleep,
never the tireness in mind.
eventually the words typed wrongly,
an unexpected call hung up.
